The recently established Orphan Care Team of FBCE is providing a wonderful ministry opportunity for our congregation by partnering with Packs of Hope, a Colorado based ministry. Packs of Hope provides dignity to children who are transitioning from home to home in the foster care system. Instead of a dirty trash bag that holds their belongings, children can receive a new backpack filled with new clothes and other items, making their trip to a new hope a little bit brighter. The Family Ministries of First Baptist Church of Evergreen is holding a One-Day Family Worship Conference on Saturday, September 18th, 2010. The conference will meet from 9:00am - 12:00pm inside the fellowship hall at First Baptist Church. Youth Bible Fellowship on Sunday morning is a time when students get the opportunity to work through and discuss what the Bible has to say on a multitude of topics, from sharing our faith to our identity in Christ. These meetings usually will incorporate some kind of media (usually as a topic starter) as well as work in small groups to best provide effective learning opportunities.
